We’re Getting Married!
Tying the knot on Saturday 24th May, 2025.
Hello!
We’re engaged!
We have chosen to get married at Carrick Castle Estate, a beautiful venue on the West Coast of Scotland. We fell in love with it on a cold, wet and windy day in January, so we cannot wait to see it in the sun(!) with our close friends and family.
We hope you can all join us to celebrate our special day. You each have made a special mark on our lives and could not imagine our Wedding Day without you there. We realise it is a big ask for people to travel for the weekend, so we completely understand that this may not be possible for some of you.
We LOVE Scotland (for obvious reasons) and thoroughly recommend, for those that are able, taking the opportunity to spend a few days in this wonderful setting.
Given the tight numbers, we have made the difficult decision for our wedding to be a child free (except for one or two family exceptions…!). We would love the parents of wee bairns amongst you all to come and enjoy a child-free weekend! However if this is going to be tricky, or there is a teeny tiny babe-in-arms then please get in touch with us.
This website will be updated as things progress, so just bear with us… However we wanted to ensure people had the option of booking accommodation early on as it is the Scottish Bank Holiday, the English School holidays and due to the popularity of the area, it can get booked up quickly!
Click on the links at the top to see local options for accommodation and see the sections below for a breakdown of whats happening on the day, and recommendations for your West Coast Scottish Adventure!
Finally, please RSVP if you get the chance!
Any questions or queries, please email us on our wedding email jamesfionawedding2025@gmail.com.
Hope to see you there!
Fiona and James.
