Bus

We have organised a bus to and from Carrick Castle Estate, starting from Drimsynie. It will also stop along route if you have booked an Airbnb for your accommodation.

Given the nature of the road to Carrick Castle, the bus company can only run a 39 seater bus. Therefore there will be two trips there and back. Our estimation will be about 1215 for first pick up, and 1300 for the second. The way back will be a free for all!

If you have a preference of first or second pick up then please let us know in the RSVP. However please understand that you may need to be on a different one to your preference if there are more people requesting a specific time. We will let you know your bus time via email closer to the time.

Please also specify if you are not being picked up from Drimsynie and let us know your address via the RSVP in the comment section.

Taxi

If you would rather a taxi, or have booked accommodation in Lochgoilhead itself, then we highly recommend booking a taxi. Please see below for recommendations from the venue.

Car

There will be parking on site for some cars.

Walking

There is some accommodation and campervan parking further down the loch towards the Farm (end of the road). The bus will not be heading that way. The walk to the farm (roughly where the campervan parking is) is about 20 minutes. There will be very few cars - if any!- travelling that way.
